Your e-pay terminal supplies prepaid mobile recharge top-ups for airtime as well as calling cards and music in the form of thermal printed vouchers.  In addition to these vouchers, e-pay is now supplying Prepaid Swipe-Card products – activated or loaded through the terminal’s swipe facility.  Available categories include; gift cards, prepaid Visa, calling cards and music, games and movie downloads.

Making a Sale

Swipe Cards must be loaded through your e-pay terminal before they have any value.  This means there is no risk of losses from theft. Payment must always be taken before processing an activation.  Making a sale is as simple as following these 5 easy steps.

1. Open

Tear open the packaging (if required) and take out the card.
If there is no card inside the packaging, then the product is a voucher. 

2. Swipe

Swipe the card through the magnetic reader on your e-pay terminal and enter your operator code.  The terminal will automatically take you to the correct product menu.

3. Confirm

Confirm that the customer is satisfied that the product, denomination and price are correct. 

4. Pay

Always take payment from the customer before approving the sale.

5. Approve Sale

Having received the customer’s payment, you can now press “PAYMENT APPROVED” to process the sale.  The terminal will now dial through to complete the transaction.  After processing, the terminal will print a confirmation receipt.  For voucher products, the terminal prints a voucher.  Neatly fold and insert the voucher into the cardboard packaging (if provided) and present it to the customer.

Precautions
•    Never push “PAYMENT APPROVED” without first receiving payment from a customer.
•    No-one from e-pay or any other organisation will ever ask you to load funds without taking payment – no exceptions!
•    Some products require online registration prior to use.
•    Some products have restrictions on the amounts that can be loaded.

	The e-pay Visa Gift Card is the ideal gift.  It gives the receiver the flexibility to use it anywhere prepaid Visa is accepted, including online. Retailers selling e-pay Gift Cards receive $2 per swipe.
	CANVAS is a re-loadable prepaid Visa card that the customer loads with cash through the e-pay terminal and can then spend it anywhere prepaid Visa is accepted. There are no credit checks, no debt and you don’t have to be 18 to purchase. Retailers selling CANVAS cards receive $2 per sale and $2 per load.
	iTunes music cards give customers access to over 1 million songs though the iTunes Music Store. One click is all it takes to download a music track! They are ideal as a gift or for anyone wanting to feed their iPod.
	e-pay now have a number of rechargeable phone cards that can be swiped through the terminal. This exciting feature will bring repeat transactions to your business.
The following are Voucher products.  They will be displayed on your stand along with Swipe-card products.   They are activated by entering a product barcode into the terminal just like a mobile top-up.  After accepting payment and printing the voucher through the terminal, neatly fold then insert the voucher into the sleeve, before presenting it to your customer.
	VCARD is a prepaid virtual Visa Card designed for shopping online. There is NO PLASTIC CARD, only a printed receipt similar to a prepaid phone top-up.  An expiry date and a 3 digit security code will be sent via sms or email.  Retailers selling VCARD receive $2 per sale.
	BigPond Prepaid Music, Movies and Games cards provide your customers with a great range of entertainment choices and you with more profit opportunities.  Great as gifts, customers can purchase $10, $20 or $50 cards for BigPond entertainment online that they can download and enjoy at their leisure.
