Over the past three months e-pay has experienced considerable growth in retail distribution. following the recent signing of 4 additional major retail groups; Caltex, Freedom Fuel, Gull Petroleum and Peregrine Group and a further 330 independent retailers e-pay moves into the position as the leading distributor of prepaid products and services in Australia. in the past 3 months our retail base has grown by approximately 1750 stores.
‘e-pay remain the only prepaid provider on the market who can guarantee electronic delivery of Optus, Vodafone and Telstra PINs’ says e-pay Sales and Marketing Director for Asia Pacific, Simon Docherty. ‘Other electronic providers simply have not been able to offer the continuity of revenue for retailers that we pride ourselves at e-pay.’
‘Whilst retailers with other electronic providers have at times faced PIN shortages or have been forced to rely on traditional scratch cards, (requiring retailers to pre-purchase stock before sale) e-pay has continued to deliver PINs electronically without interruption and backed up by our ongoing commitment to customer service’ Docherty said.
‘e-pay's fees are the lowest on the market. We pay for paper rolls and communication costs, and have no terminal fees for merchants who sell over $1500 per month (approximately 2 vouchers per day’. e-pay’s contracts are simple and easy to understand, and offer the shortest terms in the market. Unlike competitors, e-pay don’t lock retailers into lengthy contracts that they’re unable to get out of. ‘Our retailers stay with us because they choose to. We understand the demands of our retailers in delivering customers the products they want, with the minimum of fuss’ Docherty said.
Caltex Australia National Category Manager, Scott Murray is delighted to have found a partner capable of delivering an uninterrupted supply of prepaid products. ‘In a volatile telecommunications market, Caltex Australia found an electronic provider being e-pay Australia, who were pro-active and looking to partner with us and grow the category’ said Murray. ‘After some thorough in-house system analysis and testing, the changeover to e-pay was quite seamless. The terminals are very fast and user friendly, helping to enhance our customer's experience.’ Caltex will begin distributing prepaid products through e-pay terminals later this month.
The addition of these 4 petroleum retailers, combined with BP, Mobil, Woolworths, Newslink and hundreds of independents, make e-pay the leading distributor of prepaid products to the Petrol & Convenience channel in Australia.
